Learning and Skills Council image library photography

Background

Before its abolition, the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) planned and funded high quality education and training for everyone in England, and provided young people and adults with the knowledge and skills needed to be a truly competitive workforce.

Brief

We were asked to refresh the LSC image library, with a particular emphasis on images of students with disabilities and learning difficulties. However, our challenge was to complete the photography before the colleges broke up for the summer.

Solution

We scheduled a five-day shoot near Warwick involving two photographers over three sites. Meticulous research, location management, art direction and record-keeping was key to the success of the project.
